Falmouth and Camborne Night cover

Hi all

the only 2 remaining full time fire stations might be losing there night cover due to price cuts.

This means that Falmouth Docks the largest in the south west will have no 24hour night time cover and will be a day staffed station during the day and retained at the night.

What do you feel about this

people only know that stuff that the fire brigade want them to know.
lotsa of lives are being put at risk just to save money. the fire control centre at truro is sending wholetime pumps into areas with a retained station just to save cash. and this is increasing response times and escalation of the incident and the risk to the casualties

yer i agree if Falmouth is made day shift and retained at night then this will put many lives at risk not only at homes but a the boat building yard and so there is romours that the people who run the boat yard will not be able to continue to afford the insurance if the fire station is made retained at night

The CCFB have decided to prospone the idea to take away falmouth and cambornes night cover for another 6 months
