The Crew arrived to find the wax from 2 candles had melted together and caught fire, the crew used a Co2 extinguisher to extinguish the fire.

The crew arrived to find a male black and white springer spaniel had fallen down a mine the dog was approx. 25ft down the shaft, 1 firefighter was lowered down the shaft using line rescue equipment, the dog was then winched up to ground level using animal resce equipment, the dog was wet but unharmed.

There are 3 Co Responder crews in corwall located in Mullion, St kervern and Helston and use the light 4x4 appliances not just as a fire appliance but as a ambalance but they do not take patiants to hospital in them but care for the patiants until ambalce crews arive, the co responder appliances are based in these 3 villages as it may be hard for ambalnce crews to get ther quick enough.
The Co Responders from St. Kevern arrived to find a patiant unconcious and trouble breathing so the crew gave the patiant 100% oxygen until the ambalance turned up and as left in the care of them

The Crews were mobilised to reports of hoses trapped in a hosebox, then the crews arrived it was clear that the car which was towing the hose box had jackknifed trapping the 2 horses inside.The Police closed the eastbound carriageway of the A30 while the firefighters used cutting gear to free the horses.

The crews arrived to find 3 drums each containing 1000 litres of hypoclorite solution which was leaking from valves, the envirometal surport unit was ordered as part of the attendance due to nature of the incident and as the unit has special equipment to deal with leaking chemicials if it was indangering surounding objects like wildlife. The Fire fighters wore gas tight suits to examin the containers and stayed at the scene untill the specailest contractors came to remove them.

The fire brigade were called by a women who said that her and her friend were trapped upstairs because the ground floor was heavily smokelogged.The crews made their way to the adress given by the women but when they arrived it was the wronge address, it took some time for the crews to find te right addres and when they did it was to find no fire but cooking fuems coming from the kitchen.
KNOW YOUR ADDRESS
as described in the infomation below the fire brigade were given the wronge address and lost valable time beacue the person gave the wronge address fortunatly this was a minor problem but if this was a real fire it could have been fatala. so the brigade are advising everyone to remember their address especially over the christmas peroid as people are coming to stay so

The Crews were mobilised to reports of hoses trapped in a hosebox, then the crews arrived it was clear that the car which was towing the hose box had jackknifed trapping the 2 horses inside.The Police closed the eastbound carriageway of the A30 while the firefighters used cutting gear to free the horses.

The crews arrived to find 3 drums each containing 1000 litres of hypoclorite solution which was leaking from valves, the envirometal surport unit was ordered as part of the attendance due to nature of the incident and as the unit has special equipment to deal with leaking chemicials if it was indangering surounding objects like wildlife. The Fire fighters wore gas tight suits to examin the containers and stayed at the scene untill the specailest contractors came to remove them.

The fire brigade were called by a women who said that her and her friend were trapped upstairs because the ground floor was heavily smokelogged.The crews made their way to the adress given by the women but when they arrived it was the wronge address, it took some time for the crews to find te right addres and when they did it was to find no fire but cooking fuems coming from the kitchen.

as described in the infomation below the fire brigade were given the wronge address and lost valable time beacue the person gave the wronge address fortunatly this was a minor problem but if this was a real fire it could have been fatala. so the brigade are advising everyone to remember their address especially over the christmas peroid as people are coming to stay so
